NJ SPARTA — Planning Board approves paving-stones project, authorizes Lake Mohawk historic zone. The board unanimously approved an Amended Site Plan with Variances for Nicolock Paving Stones LLC at 482 Houses Corner Road in the PDRM-1 Zone. The board also granted an Extension of Time Request for Sparta Apartments Real Estate Fund LLC, which agreed to comply with current COAH requirements and received conditional approval consistent with the township's third and fourth round affordable housing filings.

The Planning Board unanimously authorized Board Attorney Ken Porro to draft an ordinance establishing Lake Mohawk as its own separate historic zone, citing differences in character and safety between Lake Mohawk and the White Deer Plaza area.
