Planning Board Meetings · Meeting of May 6, 2026
NJ SPARTA — Planning Board approves Nicolock Paving Stones amended site plan. The board voted 8 to 0 to grant seven variances and two waivers for Nicolock Paving Stones LLC at its 54-acre Houses Corner Road facility after the company's 2022-approved building proved 500 square feet larger than designed and two silos exceeded height limits due to OSHA and New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection safety requirements. Vice President Roberto Nicole testified the manufacturing operation runs two shifts, 6 a.m. to 3 a.m., with 30 employees and an average of 20 to 25 daily deliveries; parking has not been problematic over the past decade despite the variance granted.
Board Planner Lyndsay Knight stated she was impressed with the site during a site visit and observed no parking issues.
