Environmental Commission appoints Rogers Vice Chair

NJ SPARTA — Sparta Environmental Commission names Kristine Rogers as Vice Chair in unanimous vote. Robert Otto nominated Rogers, and the commission approved without other candidates considered. The commission also unanimously approved minutes from its January 22 meeting.
Chair Neil Sauerwein reported that the Master Plan Subcommittee is making progress on its Circulation Element, scheduled for Planning Board presentation on February 18. Kristine Rogers confirmed that the Township Manager has approved Earth Day 2026 for Saturday, April 25, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the municipal building, featuring free environmental exhibitors, family-friendly activities, and a children's area.
